Job Overview Instructor for Applied Music (Non‑Major) private instruction in Guitar at the College of Southern Nevada (CSN).Responsibilities Teach courses in applied music for non‑major students, including courses listed in the Music Program that count toward an AA with Music Emphasis or General Education requirements.Assignments may vary in courses, days, times, and locations—classroom and online modes—on any CSN campus.Assignments may be scheduled morning, afternoon, or evening, including weekdays and weekends.Teach any courses for which the instructor is qualified.Compensation Regular teaching rate: $925.00 per lecture credit hour (credits vary by semester).Lab/Clinic: $57.81 per applicable credit hour.Private lessons: $245 per credit per student.Qualifications Master's degree from a regionally accredited college or university.One year of teaching experience preferred but not required.Important Notes Part‑time positions may become available within the discipline; no minimum course load is guaranteed and assignments are contingent upon enrollment and departmental need.
