You will forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and coordinate material flow across the supply chain to minimize disruption and optimize performance.This role may be filled at the Analyst I or Analyst II level, depending on experience. In this position, you will either support (Level I) or independently manage (Level II) inventory planning activities, while partnering with cross-functional teams to drive accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities* Forecast demand and support material planning using historical data, production schedules, and consumption trends* Monitor inventory levels and replenishment activity to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent shortages or excess* Process and validate material orders while maintaining accurate inventory data across systems* Generate and analyze inventory reports and key performance indicators (e.g., inventory turnover, days on hand, stock-outs)* Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies through cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations* Manage excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory and recommend corrective actions* Coordinate material flow to support production schedules, including labeling and stock rotation* Proactively manage backorders and reorders, partnering with suppliers and internal teams to minimize disruptions* Collaborate with procurement, logistics, production, warehouse operations, and suppliers to align supply with demand* Communicate inventory risks, supply constraints, and performance insights; escalate and recommend solutions as needed* Support or lead process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy, reporting, and operational efficiency* Perform other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications - Analyst I* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as 4 years' experience in a related field* Working knowledge of inventory management systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams)* Basic data analysis and reporting capabilities* Strong attention to detail and accuracy across multiple systems* Effective communication and collaboration skills* Ability to prioritize and manage work in a fast-paced environmentPreferred Qualifications - Analyst I* Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related discipline* Experience in inventory planning, MRP, or supply chain operations* Experience in manufacturing, automotive, or dealership environments* Familiarity with ERP systems and reporting tools* Basic understanding of demand forecasting and inventory optimizationMinimum Qualifications - Analyst II* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related field and 2 years' experience in a related field.
