Job Description
Coordinates and assists residents moving into the community to ensure that they feel welcome. Serves as an integral part of the sales process by working closely with the sales team. Responsible to do whatever is necessary to make the selling process more effective. Uses strong organizational and detail-oriented skills combined with multi-tasking to promote fun and advance the selling process. Also provides administrative support to the marketing department
Responsibilities
- Assists with furniture measurements and placements for new residents.
- Coordinates moving services to establish new residents in the community.
- Works with real estate agent to assist with the sale of a home.
- Assist with changing address, canceling telephone and other services, notifying doctors and others of new address, etc.
- Plan and implement depositor and wait list special events.
- Works with new residents to complete all required paperwork upon move-in. Notifies all department heads 48 hours prior to a resident's move-in date. - Print out and distribute task sheets from “lead” sourcing daily.
- Makes home visits, personally delivering brochures and other follow ups.
- Utilize “lead service” to track all tasks, including follow-up, tours, deposits, home visits, etc. 10.Stock and organize all books, calendars, collateral materials, and leasing packets. 11.Arrange for continuous coverage of all incoming inquiry calls and tours, including back-up procedures for multiple calls and tours and protocol for after hours coverage. 12.Establish and maintain system for written phone messages. 13.Prepares and circulates to staff each morning a daily overview of scheduled tours, moveins/move-outs, and inventory ready to show. Assist with tours as needed. 14.Updates unit status daily on white board. Updates vacancy boards. 15.Prepares Marketing and Deposit reports on a weekly basis and other corporate reports as identified in a timely manner. 16.Notifies maintenance department of pending move-ins and inspects the apartment prior to move-in to ensure cleanliness and that any necessary alterations have been completed. 17.Inspect the building and model apartment on a daily basis in order to maximize curb appeal, tour readiness and overall building appearance; immediately report any concern or safety hazards that cannot be fixed yourself. 18.Maintain and update the Home Visit Presentation Book and Tour Book with floor plans, photos, prices, collateral materials, reservation fee and lease forms. 19.Demonstrates a strong work ethic and flexible schedule; ability to carry a cell phone and/or pages and be accessible at all times. 20.Presents at all times in a manner that demonstrates professionalism and respect and creates a trustworthy relationship. 21.Demonstrates ability to read, write, and speak English sufficient to fulfill job requirements.
- Demonstrates the ability to make independent decisions, solve practical problems that may or may not include a variety of concrete variables. This may require the ability to interpret instructions given in written, oral, diagram, or scheduled form.
- Demonstrates the ability to listen actively and evaluate social situations in an objective, consistent and fair manner. Functions independently with integrity, flexibility and works well with residents, personnel and support agencies.
- Complies with community policies and procedures for workplace safety including infection control procedures, emergency response and safety protocol.
- Complies with all company policies and procedures related to resident rights; abuse prevention and reporting; and resident confidentiality (HIPPA). Family Advisor Job Description

Qualifications
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred or previous experience relevant to the position and with the skills to successfully fulfill the job requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills are essential. Organizational skills to effectively meet competing priorities. Strong follow up skills.
• Ambitious and energetic; willing to have fun; personable with the ability to build and develop relationships quickly.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to communicate and interact with many types of individuals.
• Strong customer services skills and standards with proven ability to delivery excellent and creative service with the ability to anticipate future resident's needs.
• Team orientation with the ability to put the team and resident needs first by employing a “can-do” attitude
