IT Engineer (Onsite – Las Vegas, NV)Location: Las Vegas, NV (Full onsite — no remote)This is a hybrid role combining infrastructure/systems engineering, DevOps automation, and networking/security. DevOps & Automation (CI/CD, Environments, Tooling)Build and maintain automation across the software development lifecycle.Manage and refresh Dev/Test environments (patching, OS health, re‑provisioning).Maintain CI/CD integrations (GitHub, Jira) for build, test, deploy.Improve toolchains and introduce new automation where it accelerates development.Use AI tools where possible to streamline operations and monitoring.2. Network & Security AdministrationManage wireless networks, switches/routers, and mobile devices.Support network segmentation, routing, VLANs, and performance tuning.Administer next‑gen firewalls (filtering, threat prevention, IPSec, SSL decryption).Oversee endpoint security and physical security technologies.Support disaster recovery/business continuity planning.️ 3. Servers, Virtualization, & Cloud (Core of the Role)Administer VMware vSphere environments, Windows/Linux servers, and storage.Manage Active Directory, GPOs, DNS/DHCP, PKI, and identity services.Maintain server health, backups, and performance monitoring.Manage Microsoft 365 (email, SharePoint, OneDrive) & Azure services (VMs, Files, EntraID, Conditional Access).Support external test/development environments.️ 4. Databases & AnalyticsAdminister SQL Server backups, monitoring, and performance basics.Manage integrations with Azure Application Insights.5. End‑User SystemsDeploy and image workstations (Windows/Mac/Linux).Configure employee access (AD, file shares, O365).Maintain mobile devices and printers.6.
