Job Summary

The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing the performance, compliance, and strategic direction of 4-8 staffing branches. This leader will drive operational efficiency, ensure exceptional client service, and cultivate high-performing teams. They will work closely with branch managers and corporate leadership to align regional strategies with overall business objectives, focusing on profitability, workforce development, and sustained growth.

Key Responsibilities & Expectations

  • Provide leadership, support, and strategic direction to branch managers and their teams.
  • Monitor branch performance, analyze KPIs, and implement action plans for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and client contracts.
  • Identify and implement operational efficiencies to improve service delivery and reduce costs.
  • Drive workforce engagement and retention through training, mentorship, and professional development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with sales and client management teams to expand market share and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Oversee P&L for assigned branches, ensuring financial health and growth.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Must have 5+ years of staffing industry experience, including multi-branch or regional leadership
  • Knowledge of staffing compliance, safety, and employment regulations (Nevada required, multi-state preferred)
  • Workforce staffing experience required; light industrial staffing strongly preferred
  • Proven experience managing branch operations, revenue growth, and profitability
  • Strong leadership experience developing and managing high-performing teams
  • Experience with KPI-driven operations including fill rates, retention, and client satisfaction
  • P&L management and operational performance improvement experience
  • Knowledge of staffing compliance, safety, and employment regulations
  • Strong client relationship and business development skills
  • Experience building and growing a new market
