This role blends strategic sales expertise with operational precision to deliver elevated, seamless group and catering events aligned with luxury service standards.Ideal Candidate* Proven experience in catering sales or luxury hospitality event management* Strong understanding of food & beverage operations, banquet execution, and event design* Exceptional sales acumen with a track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets* Polished communication and relationship-building skills suited for high-end clientele* Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple high-profile events simultaneouslyKey Job Duties & Responsibilities* Business Development & Revenue GenerationProactively solicit, secure, and cultivate catering and group business to achieve defined sales goals, maximizing profitability and long-term client relationships.* Event Sales & Experience DesignLead the end-to-end sales and coordination of all catering events, including food and beverage programming, décor, entertainment, and audiovisual elements-ensuring each event reflects a refined, cohesive, and memorable guest experience.* Revenue OptimizationStrategically upsell and enhance event offerings to drive incremental revenue while maintaining a premium guest experience tailored to each client's vision.* Operational CollaborationPartner closely with culinary, banquet, and operations teams to ensure flawless execution of all events, maintaining meticulous attention to detail and adherence to luxury service standards.* Banquet Services SupportProvide hands-on support to the Banquet Services team as needed, ensuring service excellence and seamless event delivery during high-volume or complex functions.* Client Relationship ManagementServe as the primary liaison for clients, delivering personalized service, clear communication, and anticipatory attention to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.Qualifications* EducationHigh School Diploma or equivalent required; additional education in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field is preferred* Communication ExcellenceExceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to present with professionalism and sophistication. Multilingual capabilities are highly valued in a luxury, international environment* Industry ExperienceMinimum of 5 years of progressive experience within an upscale catering, conference services, or luxury hospitality environment* Leadership & Sales ExpertiseAt least 2 years of experience in catering sales management, with demonstrated success in driving revenue, managing client relationships, and leading event execution* Technical ProficiencyStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and industry systems such as Delphi (or similar event management platforms) preferred* Leadership & AutonomyProven ability to lead with confidence, exercise sound judgment, and operate effectively in a self-directed capacity within a fast-paced, high-performance culture* Collaborative ApproachDemonstrated ability to work seamlessly within cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and service excellence* Professional StandardsMust be a minimum of 21 years of age, maintaining a polished and professional presence reflective of luxury hospitality standards* Licensing & ComplianceAbility to obtain and maintain all required work cards, permits, and licenses in accordance with local regulatory requirements at all timesAdditional InformationWynn Resorts is an equal opportunity employer committed to hiring a diverse workforce and sustaining an inclusive culture.
