Position Overview The Video Floor Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing daily video warehouse and floor operations. This role leads video technicians, manages inventory and equipment readiness, supports engineering teams, and ensures all video gear is properly prepped, maintained, and dispatched for live events. This is a hands‑on leadership role requiring strong technical knowledge of video systems, the ability to manage people and priorities in a fast‑paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining high operational standards. Physical work, variable hours, and occasional weekend support are expected. General Tasks / Duties Below is a general list of the task and duties: Team Leader Directly oversee the video warehouse/shop team of technicians. Act proactively to work towards departmental and project goals. Assign and delegate tasks to the video warehouse team. Lead by example with a daily mindset of participation in task completion. Offer support and guidance to improve team performance. Identify training needs, Flex updates, and certification opportunities. Develop and integrate strategies to improve daily video shop operations. Handle hiring, training, and disciplinary actions for the video warehouse team. Video Inventory Management Lead LV Video Shop operations and oversee all daily Flex operations. Support the Video Engineering Team and oversee all prep, dispatch, intake, and de-prep of equipment packages. Manage video inventory in the Las Vegas branch: Check In / Check Out Properly stock equipment & expendables Inventory Organization Maintain organization and cleanliness of gear and cases Ensure team complies with QC standards, 3G inventory protocols, and warehouse operational procedures. Oversee that pull sheets are fully scanned out. Oversee that manifests are fully scanned in; report any damages or missing equipment. Receive all subrentals in Flex (verify gear matches physical items). Return all subrentals in Flex (verify all gear is returned). Interface with the Logistics Manager on equipment pickups and returns. Assist in the sourcing of cross-rental equipment to resolve shortages. Assist in the management of maintenance and repair of video equipment: Identify broken equipment and initiate repair process Mark and de-mark items as out of commission in Flex Oversee LED repair and maintenance technicians Manage RMA requests Assist in the organization and logistics of warehouse operations: Load and unload trucks as needed Coordinate placement of gear within warehouse bays Facilitate pickups and deliveries on an as-needed basis Interface with the Warehouse Manager and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Technical & Training Support Train new hires and freelancers on Flex and warehouse procedures. Stay updated on Flex system changes and train team accordingly. Learn new video equipment and video engineering assets. Attend gear certification classes provided by 3G. Provide LED Tech show services when required. Provide on-site repair and technical support to long-term video wall installations. Qualification and Experience At least 5 years of professional live video technician experience. Must know naming and functionality of all common components and cabling of a live video system (signal, fiber, power, and data). Ability to identify if equipment is in a safe and working condition. Engineering and technical experience with LED systems, projectors, video processing, and media servers. Must have experience as a team leader or supervisor. Must have strong leadership and communication skills. Must be highly organized. Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment. Ability to maintain composure in stressful, high-pressure situations. Experience working with inventory management software (preferred platform – Flex Rental Solutions). OSHA 30 certification preferred (required by company if hired). Experienced in Microsoft 365 platform associated applications. Physical Demands: Will frequently lift and move 50–100 lbs. Forklift and scissor lift certifications preferred (required by company if hired). Schedule / Hours of Work Position is based and operated out of Las Vegas NV.
