The Assistant Beverage Manager is responsible for the oversight and day to day operations within the casino beverage, bars, and lounges for Rio Las Vegas Hotel & Casino. This position will directly manage and provide oversight to the Supervisor and hourly team members in multiple outlets.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:
This position works directly with the operational teams and oversee the hourly team members.
Minimum three years of progressive Beverage operations experience.
Ability to work nights and weekends and holidays as business demands.
Organizational skills, solution-driven, analytical thinker.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
Excellent written and oral communication skills which include being able to comfortably sell new ideas/strategies at all levels of the organization.
Proactive with an attention to details.
Able to set priorities, work schedules, and meet department deadlines.
High School Diploma or GED (required)
At least 21 years of age.
Experience leading large teams, both in a bargaining and non-bargaining environment.
Technical knowledge of Food and Beverage management systems (InfoGenesis, Kronos, Stratton Warren, Workday), technical knowledge of data analytics systems.
Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
Must be able to work under time constraints and within established deadlines.
Must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment and exposed to various environmental factors such as but not limited to noise, dust and smoke.
