Description:

Material Handler II (Level 2 – Intermediate)Performs a variety of warehouse and material handling duties involving the receipt, storage, movement, replenishment, and distribution of materials, components, and finished goods. Safely operates powered industrial trucks and other material handling equipment to support warehouse, production, receiving, shipping, and inventory operations. Works independently with limited supervision while ensuring inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and compliance with company safety standards.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesReceives, stores, moves, and distributes materials, components, and finished goods throughout the facility.Loads and unloads trailers, containers, and delivery vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.Operates powered industrial trucks and material handling equipment, including forklifts, aisle masters, pallet stackers, tuggers, and pallet jacks, following company certification requirements.Performs put-away, replenishment, order picking, staging, and material delivery functions.Verifies quantities, locations, serial numbers, and part numbers against system and shipping documentation.Supports production operations by ensuring timely delivery of materials and removal of completed product.Maintains inventory accuracy through proper transactions, material handling, and location management.Assists with cycle counts, inventory audits, investigations, and discrepancy resolution.Identifies and reports inventory, equipment, quality, and safety concerns.Maintains compliance with company safety policies, quality standards, and operational procedures.Assists with training and mentoring Material Handler I employees on processes, equipment operation, and safety expectations.Supports continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancement activities.Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with 5S standards.Supports Receiving, Shipping, Inventory Control, Production, and Warehouse Operations as business needs require.Performs other duties, responsibilities, and special projects as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesWorking knowledge of warehouse, inventory, receiving, and shipping operations.Ability to safely operate powered industrial trucks and material handling equipment.Strong understanding of inventory control and material flow processes.Ability to read and interpret work instructions, shipping documents, packing slips, and inventory records.Basic computer and ERP system experience preferred.Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.Ability to prioritize work and operate effectively with minimal supervision.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.Ability to work in a warehouse environment with moving equipment and varying temperatures.Ability to safely operate powered industrial trucks and other material handling equipment.Leveling (Level 2 – Intermediate)SkillFully proficient in routine warehouse operations and material movement activities.Demonstrates competency in multiple warehouse functions and equipment types.Job ComplexityPerforms a variety of tasks requiring independent judgment and decision-making within established procedures.SupervisionWorks under general supervision and is expected to complete assignments independently.Experience1–3 years of warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, inventory control, or material handling experience.Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification preferred or ability to obtain certification.LVIC-Specific Responsibilities (Recommended)Meet departmental productivity standards for put-away, replenishment, and material movement activities.Maintain safe operation of PIT equipment and comply with all pedestrian and traffic safety requirements.Support cross-training efforts and provide backup support to Receiving, Shipping, Inventory Control, and Production Operations.Assist leadership in achieving inventory accuracy, safety, quality, and operational performance goals.Why Aristocrat?Aristocrat is a world leader in gaming content and technology, and a top-tier publisher of free-to-play mobile games.
